   To request specific beam weeks at FTBF between December 30, 2020 and May 
31, 2021.  

    We are also now beginning to schedule the new Irradiation Test Area.  
This new facility is undergoing its readiness review September 9 and after a 
commissioning period is expected to start operating for users in November.

   The initial months of ITA running will prioritize CMS and ATLAS studies, 
to be coordinated internally.

    At the facility we have been reconfiguring the control room and adjusting 
policies to maximize social distancing and safety and expect to be 
circulating procedures soon.   At least at the start of the year we 
anticipate restrictions in the number of simultaneously running experiments 
and control room access.  We encourage groups to think about ways they can 
maximize social distancing and minimize the number of people at FTBF/ITA 
during their installation and operations.  Let us know if there are ways we 
can help you achieve this.

    We are looking forward to welcoming you all back in FY21 and appreciate 
your flexibility and cooperation as we continue to navigate these uncharted 
waters together.
