Subject: "end-game" sPHENIX installation

 

Dear sPHENIX colleagues

The part of sPHENIX installation after the magnet is mapped is going to be a subject of increasing discussion based on recent meetings with CAD people.

I thought it would be useful to write down what we have in P6 that sets the timeline post-mapping. Please see the attached spreadsheet. 

In particular TPC, beampipe, INTT, and MVTX figure into the timeline.  MBD is assumed to be done in parallel with the silicon detectors.

 

This ought to form a basis for further discussion.  I am sure we'll have several chances to present this to various groups going forward. ;-)
