Nice job putting together the draft in such short notice! And glad to see the first round feed back from Cameron Dean on the MatterMost channel

 

A few suggestions to improve upon the draft

 

  • Abstract : “this talk” -> “this poster”
  • sPHENIX detector section
  • Second bullet to “Study the inner workings of QGP with hard probes at a broad range of length scale”
  • “Larger datasets and higher precision measurements Larger datasets and higher precision measurements for bottom quark physics studies”
    ->
    “Enabling precision bottom quark physics studies at RHIC”
MVTX section
  • “Copy of inner barrel of ALICE” -> “Adapting the inner barrel of ALICE”
  • “Vertex resolution ~5um for pT>1GeV” is incorrect
    ->
    “Track vertex displacement resolution <30um for p_T>1GeV”
Upsilon section
  • Remove “Comparison between sPHENIX with LHC …” as it is not leading to a clear point
b-jet section
  • Remove “Constrain bottom quark diffusion transport parameters” which rely on the lower pT HF hadron measurement
Open HF section
  • “Study charm diffusion Study charm diffusion and energy loss mechanism in the QGP medium”
    ->
    “Precision study of the charm and bottom diffusion and energy loss mechanism in the QGP medium”
B_s subsection
  • y-axis unit is strange. I assume it is pb/bin? Then we need to mention bin size in the unit
  • Please mention the plot include full detector simulation of the signal only. Background is still under study
  • “First 𝐵𝑠0 measurement in Au + Au collision at RHIC energy with leptonic PID”
    ->
    “Exploring the possibility of 𝐵𝑠0 measurement at RHIC energy”
    as we can not claim it is feasible until the background is studied.
