Subject: New recommended FELIX device driver package available (v4.9)

 

Dear FELIX Users,

 

We would like to announce the release of a new recommended driver bundle for all users (version 4.9).
The most significant changes w.r.t 4.5 are:

 

1. Fix to issue in the cmem_rcc driver which had in some cases been causing systems to hang when using felix-star in unbuffered mode
2. Improvements to cmem_rcc allocation algorithm to improve chances of allocating necessary blocks on boot
3. Add feature to make it possible to request cmem_rcc buffer release by name

 

The driver is recommended for anyone using firmware versions 4.9 or 4.10 rc1, alongside software version 4.1.1 or any 4.2 betas.
