Hello,

We finished the last ESRC review on Monday, and so you are indeed next. BTW, we can move the dry run to your convenience, but we can't easily change the Nov 15 review.

I think we will limit the scope of the review to not include the detector installation, because I suspect that the MVTX and INTT installation will engender a lot of discussion along the lines of "You mean it's only 2 mm from the beryllium?" so we will probably have to leave that for another ESRC meeting, and once you have the movie of the installation mock-up, that will probably be much quicker.

If we leave that out, then I think we're dealing mainly with electrical hazards and practices. So you need to show that the cables and connectors are rated to carry the voltages and currents, they are (flammability) rated appropriately for the cable trays, PC boards are made of FR4, and you have appropriate interlocks, fusing, and current limits. You should have some slides on cooling. Any commercial electronics needs to be either UL listed, or you have top explain that you have or will have it inspected by a lab Electrical Equipment Inspector (EEI).

You don't need to cover AC power distribution, or the generic interlocks provided by Joel, as they have been reviewed. You don't have to cover electronics in the rack room, we'll also do that at a later time in a more general way.

If there are other hazards that I've forgotten, let me know. I should mention that due to a number of recent electrical safety incidents in CAD that the audience may be lively.
