Hi Jo and all,

 

I have added a link to the updated MVTX BNL commissioning plan doc.

Given the progress with detector assembly and power cable production at LBNL, we better start setting up electrical system now at BNL, including a 8-stave telescope using the final production hardware.

 

From this morning’s Skype chat, it seems we need the following items immediately ( next ~2 weeks if possible) to setup a 8-stave telescope:

• 8 staves, from LBNL
• 8 short samtec cables, from LANL
• 8 power cables, from LBNL. = do we have them?
• A cooling system, for staves (first)  and electronics (later), a spare from LBNL?
• mGTM, from LANL (old one) + new GL1 board (BNL)
• CAEN power supply and modules, from LBNL    

 

We can discuss details tomorrow.
