Hi Walt, Jim, Jason, Joe, Eric and all,

 

Could you please review the current design of water/air cooling for MVTX?

 

It seems the default T for MVTX is 20C, but we may consider to use 18C (available for INTT and a few other subsystem).

Subject: Final review of the sPHENIX gas and water system single line diagram (SLD)

 

sPHENIX team,

We need your feedback on the attached SLD that summarizes all of the sPHENIX water and gas systems.  There will be an FDR for this at the end of July and this diagram is the key document that defines the scope of what we are going to review and install.  The HCAL team will notice that there are no boxes for oHCAL or iHCAL because there is no water or gas going to those detectors.  There will a new controlled interface control document (ICD) issued that contains this SLD and some other diagrams.

Please reply to me, Peter, and Rob with any comments or questions you have by the middle of next week,  Wednesday July 13th.
