Good Morning All,

 

I am sending this email to remind you that the racks on the carriage will shut down this Saturday 04/01.

 

In addition, I’d like to schedule a network device configuration adjustment in our network ring on Friday morning. This adjustment will also make the racks turned off.

 

The details of this new time window for this shutdown are below:

 

Date: Friday 03/31/23

Work Time: 6 am to 10 am

Subject: Scheduling 1008 Carriage Power Down

 

I'm scheduling the installation of the zero-energy voltage testers to the IR connection boxes.

These connection boxes have the main line feeds to the power distribution panels on the carriage. Therefore, powering down and locking out the east and west carriage transformers are required to perform this installation.

 

The benefit of this installation is to eliminate exposure to electrical hazards.

It runs an auto-self-check to verify the wiring within 10 seconds.

These devices are UL listed and meet NFPA 70E 120.5(7) Exception 1.

 

Test for the absence of voltage with the push of a button is the best practice for verifying the absence of voltage, enabling our facility to operate safer, smarter, and more efficiently.

 

The work will be performed and tested by our electricians.
