Dear all,

at the Atlanta collaboration meeting we discussed that we hold an
introduction session to taking data at the FermiLab test beam.

This is for everyone who intends to either come to FermiLab to help with
the test beam, or wants to analyze the data, or in general wants to
learn about our analysis chain. This might be especially valuable for
newcomers to sPHENIX, even if you have no immediate plans w.r.t. the
test beam data.

Many people have worked neither with the DAQ system we are using, nor
the analysis of the raw data. I will show some concepts about the DAQ
and how we run it, what the data look like, and how you can get at
"meta" information about the beam, positioning tables, Cherenkov
pressures, temperatures, etc.

I'm planning on making this an online-only session because that has
worked well in the past. It should be about an hour long.

I believe that we will hold another session how to analyze the eventual
DSTs as time progresses.

I created a doddle poll with some possible time slots:

Bluejeans coordinates will come.

Best,
Martin
