MDC2 update - Cameron Dean :

Summary: Module introduced checking decay quality in Truth record

Feature requests

Wei: Check lifetime of particle

Jin: Follow up to find an efficient way to use as a QA module

Marzia: Check daughter within acceptance

Joe: Consider adding to g4eval (or smililar location in coresoftware) to allow running with the default macro

Marzia/Cameron: this module (via DecayFinder) can be configured to look for vairous exclusive decay channels. But this tool is not designed to search for all decay modes of one particle.

Decayer Update - Zhaozhong Shi:

Summary: deep dive into Geant4 to check whether/how the example Pythia6 decayer is working so we could reliably active our EvtGen decayer

Jin: Please make a pull request if the first step is completed: recover the Pythia6 decayer

Electron ID - Weimu Ma:

Summary: embedded electron ID classification

Discussion:

Cameron: The bipolar feature of the background BDT is strange. Suggest further look into it, (e.g. particular correlation with bgd distribution or anti-proton vs pion)

Jin: A plot on inner HCal spectrum after embeddign will be useful to see its effectiveness under background conditions

Jin: It will be useful to plot pion rejection vs centrality (e.g. b- parameter or sum of calo energy)

Jin/Tony: It will be very useful to integration MVA with sPHENIX software as an electorn ID module for use in production env. Tony has a student to work with Weihu.
