Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce that the 9th International Symposium on Heavy Flavor Production in Hadron and Nuclear Collisions (HF-HNC 2024) will be held in Guangzhou, China, from December 6th (Friday) to December 11th (Wednesday), 2024. December 6th will be the arrival date and December 11th the departure date.

The symposium aims to bring together theorists and experimentalists working on the production of heavy flavors in hadron and nuclear collisions, focusing on the latest experimental results and theoretical developments in this field. We anticipate vibrant discussions covering a wide range of pertinent topics.

This symposium follows a series of successful meetings, with the previous editions taking place at various prestigious institutions around the world. HF-HNC 2024 will continue this tradition by providing a platform for in-depth discussions and networking among researchers.

The symposium will feature plenary sessions with invited and contributed talks, as well as ample time for discussion. We encourage all participants to join us in person, as remote participation will not be available.

There is a registration fee of $200 for all participants. Students and participants who have received their PhDs within the past three years are invited to apply for young scientist support.

Important Dates:

- Registration and abstract submission opening: August 1st, 2024

- Registration and abstract submission deadline: November 1st, 2024

- Application for young scientists support deadline: October 25th, 2024
