sPHENIX discussion of physics

Hi sPHENIX colleagues,

We will not hold a Physics Coordination Meeting this Friday. For performance 
plot approvals, the GM next week (13 September) will be the next opportunity.

Over the next few months, it will be important to discuss several key issues 
in the PCMs, such as the Run-24 first physics analysis strategy (including 
towards the Quark Matter conference in 2025) and Run-25 trigger/luminosity 
strategy (especially as part of the Beam Use Proposal and PAC meeting). 

But for this week, we hope the experts will continue focusing on taking 
high-quality p+p reference data for the heavy-flavor and jet structure 
physics programs.
