Hi sPHENIX colleagues,

As discussed in last week’s and previous PCMs, sPHENIX has formed six new Paper Preparation Groups (PPGs):

PPG-07: Neutral meson A_N in polarized p+p

PPG-08: Dijet correlations in p+p

PPG-09: Jet spectrum in p+p

PPG-10: UE in p+p jet events

PPG-11: Neutral mesons in p+p

PPG-12: Isolated photons in p+p

These PPGs are focused on analyzing Run-24 p+p data for physics measurements on the timescale of QM’25 (or potentially earlier for GHP/DIS’25 in the case of PPG-07).

As a reminder, all PPGs, including their memberships, mailing lists, Mattermost channels, links to internal documentation and final products, etc., can be found on the Analysis Tracking wiki page [1] (also linked off the main wiki landing page)

We anticipate that additional PPGs will be formed in the coming months, including on measurements where sPHENIX is still working to develop key capabilities (such as in the HF/Quarkonia TG effort), those which are potentially on longer timescales, etc.
