Dear all,
We would like to share the first preliminary version of the “golden run list” for the calorimeter data of 0 and 1.5 mrad crossings including all z-vertices [1].
Credits go to Justin Bennet and Hanpu Jiang who established and cross checked the macros to grab the informations. Macros can be find in the same git repository.
We encourage PPG analyzers using calorimeter data to start looking into these runs. Any feedback would be very useful.
There are also a couple of notes we want to highlight below for more information.
1. This is NOT the final version but these runs should be all “good” runs, so please let us know if anything looks abnormal for particular runs
2. QA information are based on DB and DST_CALO_run2pp ana450_2024p009
3. Some of the runs are missing hot maps which Blair is working on making them
4. Missing runs that fail the current event combiner — to be included in the future new production
5. No runs included before July 2nd when the trigger + GTM/GL1 firmwares got updated — all runs before July 2nd had many issues and therefore not so useful except for specific purposes.
The corresponding luminosity is ~53 pb-1 which is a very rough first order approximation based on the “mu” value derived from the MBD trigger live counts and running time.
Apart from the missing ~30-35% of the runs, the difference compared to the
known 107 pb-1 value is coming from various QAs such as Calo, Trigger, DAQ and so on that we discussed in the Calo-calibration and TG meetings.
As these are approximations at the moment, please do not pay much attention to the details but analyzers can have a first guess about the statistics in their analyses.
Best,
Justin, Hanpu, Jaebeom
