Hi All,

Here are some brief minutes from the meeting.  Feel free to reply with corrections, comments, complaints, etc.

Cheers,

Ron

*** ACTION ITEMS ***

- Cosmics testing!

- Budget projections—would like to know how much budget there is for additional sector construction after Run-23

- Electronics—need at most one DCM II (4 of 8 channels); could possibly share with another subsystem, but that reduces operational flexibility (cannot run separately from that other subsystem)

*** Additional notes and discussion ***

- 24 sectors built (2 damaged and in need of repair), 6 sectors remaining.  Discussion of using of thin aluminum plate to provide mechanical stability for damaged sectors—general agreement this would work well and not cause problems for physics signals.

- Hoping to complete construction *prior* to Thanksgiving (Thurs 2022-11-24).  Some construction (sectors) must be done at Lehigh, other (fiber bundles) can be done elsewhere.  Help for sector construction could come from Muhlenberg, help for fiber bundle construction could from UNCG and Boulder.  Despite general shipping fears, minimal risk in shipping fiber bundles.

- Eagerly awaiting results from cosmics tests.  Very important for determining whether low light yield tiles are still usable.  Note that crossing angle causes additional headaches for EP flattening, hence desire for as much uniformity as achievable.

- Wrapping materials en route to Boulder, see other email traffic for routing number—status is Out for Delivery, expected by 7pm MDT today.

- We are one of the last subsystems to go in, John said mid-January to mid-February is the current expectation.

- For electronics, all of our ADC boards will go into a single crate, which means we only need one XMIT.  We also need one DCM II and one PAR III.  No new ADC boards can be built prior to Run-23, so we will need to draw from the general population of ADCs.
