Just a couple of things to add to this:

  1. Power cable is on order with 1-2 week delivery from April 10, 2023.  I have the parts for the connectors. It will take a few days to cut and terminate the box end.  Rack end is terminated after installation.
  2. Interface boards: There are parts that currently have some long lead times.  The longest at this point is Feb 2024, but that is subject to change.
  3. Preamp boards: No long lead time items for the preamp boards at this point in time.  Expect them in the June time frame.
  4. Rosi, did you ever check with Meritc to see if they shipped the interior signal cables?  I talked to John H. and he does not have them.

Hi All,

Sorry for the delay, but here is the current status of the sEPD electronics to the best of my knowledge.  Eric, feel free to jump in if I missed anything!

SiPM Boards: The SiPMs were delivered to CEM on Tuesday afternoon.  The exact date which the boards will be completed was not definite and depends on purchasing for the rest of the parts (which they said was started), but a rough estimate of about a month from now was given.  They will follow up with Rosi with more details.

Preamp Boards:  We need a minimum of 48 preamp boards, and are hoping for closer to 60 to include spares.  I have 22 unassembled boards which I am testing currently (so far 13 of 19 pass), and 46 boards which are assembled but labeled bad.  I can retest these as well.  We can raid EMCAL sector 0 for 50% of the needed preamps, which would get us to 37 of 48 needed boards currently - more testing is in progress, this should improve!

Interface Boards: We need 12 interface boards.  Eric says there are 10 verified boards available, and the remaining 2 can come from EMCAL sector 0.

I will keep this list up to date with the status of these parts.

Cheers,
Tristan
