Hi All,

Here are some brief minutes from the meeting yesterday.  Comments, corrections, etc. welcomed.

Regards,

Ron

PROJECT

The support frames have been installed.  One of the fiber bundles was constructed incorrectly - the prefer solution is to fix it, but it’s not yet clear if there’s enough time for that.  We don’t have a firm installation date.  The installation date partially depends on personpower availability, a lot of which is currently from CAD.  Light-tight testing is ongoing and expected to be done by early Wednesday.  Two tiles with minor problems will be included - we discussed the need to make sure those are in the vertical rather than horizontal position due to the additional Q-vector corrections needed because of the beam angle.

Various orders need frequent follow ups to make sure they have the paperwork, parts availability, and so on.  This includes meritec for cables and xometry for the SiPM box.  Next week Rosi will share slides giving details about all of the order statuses and expected deliveries.  Based on the discussion it seems that the earliest the SiPM boxes will be ready will be June 1, and they will still need to be tested.

So far 22 boards have been tested, with 16 good and 6 bad.  Sometimes multiple channels can fail because of a single failure point - Tristan and Eric will coordinate on the boards before bringing any to Sal for repairs.

SOFTWARE

Next week we are expecting a report from JaeBeom on the online software and a report from Ejiro on the offline software.  The online software framework has been implemented by adapting EMCal code.  The visual interface already has all sectors in 2d polar coordinates.  The next steps are to decide what plots we want for online monitoring and to test the software with the sEPD packet id.  The geometry code is nearing completion but still being worked on, Ejiro will email the list with the current status.  The phi weighting for the EP determination has been implemented and is being tested this week.
