sPHENIX Event Plane Detector discussion

Hi, everybody. I wanted to check in regarding the sEPD paper. I see that a significant amount of text, plus two figures, about the electronics have been added. I believe that was Eric's doing, but in any case, a shout-out to whomever added that material!

That's great progress, but there is still a lot to be done. Some major items are:
1.) We need to put actual numbers into the Design and Construction sections. I was hoping Tristan might be able to do that. But if somebody could point me to the relevant drawings and documents, I would be happy to go through and put in the numbers myself.
2.) We need to fill in the "information on machining". I feel like this needs to be one paragraph. Could Rosi or Tristan do this, or could we invite our machinist to say a few words?
3.) We need to fill in the Testing section. I forget exactly who we were thinking would do this. I think it might have been Ejiro and/or Dan, but I didn't write anything down. Is somebody willing to take this on?
4.) There are several figures that we need to have made: "placement in sPHENIX", "overview of whole sEPD", "detail of 1 sector", "detail of 1 tile", "side view of 1 tile". I would be willing to be the point person on this, but I actually have no idea whom I need to talk to in order to make this happen. Any suggestions?
5.) We also need an estimate on what kinds of performance plots we can reasonably expect in the next few months, and when they should be ready. I wrote down "event-plane resolution" and "centrality determination". If I remember correctly, Ejiro is working on some of this. It would be good to hear from anybody who is coordinating sEPD performance work so we can get an idea of what results are in the pipeline and who is working on them.

Please note that the clock is ticking. If I understand correctly, our final report is due to the NSF some time in the summer, and it would be very good to have the paper on the arXiv by then. That will mean working steadily on this paper throughout the spring. I think that most of us would benefit from having another publication we can point to, given how much time we have invested in this detector.
