Hello all,

At the MAPS workfest it came up that we don't have an up-to-date sphenix virtual machine to help new people get started. Since I had previously set one up from scratch for my own development use, I've rolled a new generic one this weekend as a starter kit for others. I've cloned, built, and run the example macro in it, so I believe it is good to go.

That machine is available here as a 10GB tarball download:

Instructions on the process to create a new machine (if you are so inclined) are here:

Let me know if you try it and there is some problem. For outsiders, I'll need to push build updates through the opt_sphenix tarball in the setup area.
