Hi Chris et al,

Dave and I just send a suggestion regarding a "reference configuration" to the phenix list. It would be extremely helpful to get comments from the experts on the feasibility of such simulations with such a configuration, and if necessary suggestion for configurations with a similar spirit but less technical hurdles.

Simulations for the ALD charge: no real input. Just to get things going we'll start simulations using our standard macro which should give us the default configuration (please everyone involved - have a look if this is the case). Probably we'll run hijing for starters - it's the most complicated and will reveal problems in our setup. We will certainly need this as baseline anyway.
