Upsilon projection - Sasha Lebedev

 

Summary: updated Upsilon R_AA projection with momentum dependent

 

Slide2:

using updated MAPS + INTT + TPC with ~80 MeV resolution in Sasha's setup

 

Slide3:

Question to Tony: what is the source of pT parameterization as used in PHG4ParticleGeneratorVectorMeson ?

 

Slide5:

·       After momentum dependent hadron rejection simulation, lower hadron portion was observed when compared with the proposal.

·       Therefore, possible to relax to higher electron eff.

·       Combinatorial background is more important in high pT.

 

Slide6:

Jin: is the uncertainty higher than proposal although hadron background is lower now?

Sasha: will compare with proposal on different component.

 

 

 

Dropbox Enterprise opportunities -Martin Purschke

 

Summary: pilot program to use Dropbox Enterprise will be available starting Oct 24 for 8 weeks.

 

Slide 5: can be a solution for sharing private git repository.

 

Slide 6: allow adding comment via webpage interface

 

John: would RCF support of Dropbox file sharing?

Martin: will find out whether can run on RCF drobox client.

 

Jin: how connect to private Dropbox account?

Martin: not clear from dropbox presentation. need to find out
