sPHENIX discussion of software

Hi folks,

neither Jin nor I are around at 1pm today, and there are no talks on our 
indico page:

maybe we can do this one by e-mail. The reason for the huge memory 
consumption we suffered under for the last week(s) has been fixed (for 
everyone - please keep an eye on what you are doing and check before you 
commit). The jobs are now again happy with 10GB  and we are back to the 
20GB memory limit with 779 condor slots to run those.

We need to make a decision if the standard sims (or a subset) should be 
rerun with the 40 layer tpc (which will keep the queue busy for a couple 
of days)  or if what we have so far is good enough for the review. Over 
the weekend I ran more hijing sims (5-9fm and 9-11fm) is there anything 
else needed in terms of centrally run sims?
