The email I got said to use ssh.sdcc.bnl.gov (which worked). Should we use ssh.rhic.bnl.gov instead?

Hi folks,

rcf is consolidating their gateways, instead of atlas and rhic being separate we will use a common one - called ssh.rhic.bnl.gov.

Initially we discussed to keep rssh as an alias to make it less disruptive but the hostkeys change so everyone would be prompted anyway. This change mainly affects your ssh tunnel setups where instead of rssh.rhic.bnl.gov you need to use ssh.rhic.bnl.gov

The new gateways are up so you can switch at your own leisure. But don't take too long we envision the usual month grace period before the rssh and atlasgw gateways are taken offline

These SSH gateways are deprecated and will be decommissioned soon:
RHIC gateways: rssh.rhic.bnl.gov
USATLAS gateways: atlasgw.usatlas.bnl.gov

All RACF/SDCC users should be using these gateways:
SDCC gateways: ssh.sdcc.bnl.gov
