Sorry, I sent the email too soon. In fact the situation is rather the following (after update of the macros repository):

GenFit + full track finding <- ok

GenFit + truth track seeding <- ok

ACTS + full track finding <- ok

ACTS + truth track seeding <- random crash

(and in all cases no micromegas clusters)

Conclusion of having more thorough tests in jenkins still hold. I'll work on adding the micromegas histograms.

Hi,

Trying to run with latest coresoftware, with genfit toolchain, (G4TRACKING::use_Genfit = true;), my macro stops after first event with:

/phenix/u/hpereira/sphenix/src/coresoftware/offline/packages/tpc/TpcClusterizer.cc:747: ActsTrackingGeometry not found on node tree. Exiting (which is expected since I am running genfit. Or?)

Can someone double check ?

In fact my macro also crash with acts toolchain, when using truth track seeding (G4TRACKING::use_truth_track_seeding = true;)

after processing a random number of events and without any error messages. (was working before, of course). I'll investigate some more ...

So all in all the only configuration I am able to run with now is with ACTS and full track seeding, which is the one tested via Jenkins. (and then I don't get any more clusters in the Micromegas, but that is a different story)

This probably mean we need more QA tests in Jenkins, with multiple tracking configurations (ACTS vs GenFit, with, w/o truth track seeding) at least as long as we plan to support those ...

(and I need to add some Micromegas QA histograms)
