sPHENIX discussion of software

Hi all,

I noticed I had an emacs job eating up 100% cpu on sphnx01-- don't know from 
when this session is apparently it's an old one from a saved NX session I 
probably haven't used in awhile...   I see three others there too that look 
possibly like this (3 emacs jobs are still eating 100% cpu there  two from 
user dlis and one from josbo, I'm guessing these are the same as mine, not 
actually in use but going bonkers...  perhaps Joe and Daniel could kill those 
if they aren't legit like mine wasn't.

A larger question is how widespread this problem is, like is this happening 
on other servers?  I don't see it on rcas2062 that I use frequently.

Perhaps good to be aware, hopefully we don't need to start keeping track of 
how many extant NX sessions we still have out there....
