Hello David,

AlignmentTransformation was recently added to offline/packages/trackbase/.

It would probably be most efficient to meet on zoom. I can do that after 1:30 today.

Hi Chris and all, thanks so much for the debugging yesterday.

After cleaning up my branch to submit it, I am again having trouble at the linking stage in coresoftware/simulation/g4simulation/g4tpc/build.

Specifically:

* I have updated /direct/sphenix+u/dstewart/coresoftware/offline/packages/trackbase on git branch "cluster_edit",  built it and copied it to my install directory

* Then I have updated

/direct/sphenix+u/dstewart/coresoftware/simulation/g4simulation/g4tpc

but the linking fails with messages like:

/cvmfs/sphenix.sdcc.bnl.gov/gcc-8.3/release/release_new/new.2/lib/libtrack_reco.so: undefined reference to `typeinfo for alignmentTransformationContainer'
/cvmfs/sphenix.sdcc.bnl.gov/gcc-8.3/release/release_new/new.2/lib/libtrack_reco.so: undefined reference to `ActsGeometry::get_tpc_surface_from_coords(unsigned int, Eigen::Matrix<double, 3, 1, 0, 3, 1>, unsigned short&)'
/cvmfs/sphenix.sdcc.bnl.gov/gcc-8.3/release/release_new/new.2/lib/libtrack_reco.so: undefined reference to `AlignmentTransformation::createMap(PHCompositeNode*)'
/cvmfs/sphenix.sdcc.bnl.gov/gcc-8.3/release/release_new/new.2/lib/libtrack_reco.so: undefined reference to `ActsGeometry::getGlobalPosition(unsigned long, TrkrCluster*)'

I assume it is similar to the problems that I had yesterday. My code refactoring in the trackbase files was only for print_out purposes and called functions in TrkrDefs which only did does shiting and shouldn't care about the Acts library.

In any case, help debugging/library dependencies would be great. I'd like to get this submitting to the tracking group for integration with the code.
