Takao and I are organizing the TPC offline signal processing in the coming commissioning and software workfest. It is an exciting time with first TPC data available for building up these analysis. And we would like to invite you to join us on this work. A list of tasks is tracked on wiki:

Dear sPHENIX Colleagues,

 

This is a reminder that we will hold a commissioning and software workfest in approximately one month in hybrid mode, both at BNL and online (although we hope to see as many as possible at BNL). Please register for the workfest, even if you are currently at BNL, at the indico page if you want to participate. This will help identify how many rooms we need to accommodate everyone for the entire week.

Dear sPHENIX colleagues,

 

After the poll and the discussion in the software meeting today, it appears that the week of March 13^th is the best option for a workfest. Therefore, we will plan to hold another workfest to prepare for commissioning at Brookhaven National Laboratory from Monday, March 13^th, to Friday, March 17^th. An indico page has been created at the link below. Please register in the next several weeks so that we can determine how many rooms need to be reserved.
