Hi folks,

just a friendly reminder - our interactive nodes sphnx01/02 have 20GB of memory. If you run more than one memory hungry job (the close to 10GB jobs) the nodes tend to run out of memory and start to swap and everybody running on those is having a bad time.

The interactive nodes are for testing and development not for long running jobs. In condor you can request as much memory as you want and you are running on "our" hardware which has enough memory. Please consider using condor for production/analysis purposes
