    Hi Tony,
    
    I should have mentioned this - it is cpu time, not wall clock. My
    longest running emacs has racked up 45 minutes. But we can easily be
    more generous, We just need to get rid of the jobs which run for
    days at 100% and slow the nodes down

Hi folks,

we keep on having those runaway processes (root, emacs, vscode,...)
which then run forever at 100% cpu. We have now a daemon which sets the
ulimit of processes owned by the sphenix gid to 7200 seconds.

Lets see how this goes, let me know if this causes problems (e.g. this
time should be extended, but at some point condor with its much faster
nodes is objectively the better option)
