sPHENIX discussion of software

    Hello everybody,
    
    This is a reminder that we will have a sPHENIX simulation and
    software meeting today October 22nd 1:00PM ET.

    Dan will talk about the trigger info and Shuhang about the jet
    skimming module. 
    
    The first pass (G4) for the new pp sims (10M events for MB, 10/30GeV
    jets) for 0 deg crossing is pretty much done (1.5mRad being run
    right now). This is now waiting for the new calorimeter reco code.
    
    A big ticket item is the freeing of space in lustre. We have enough
    space for the calorimeter processing but if we are serious about the
    processing of the tpc data, we have to start removing the 2023 data.
    The raw data is easy - we have a copy in hpss, but none of the
    processed data is.
    
    sPHENIX members should have write access, the access key is
    babar1008
    
    Don't forget the office hours at 3:00pm-3:30pm (Help will always be
    given at sPHENIX for those who ask for it).
