TPC aficionados,
let me forward an announcement for this recurring workshop. I am getting
questions about it because I was participating in the last one last
year, and they have copied the entire old agenda including uploaded
talks, verbatim. It looks like I have already agreed to be there.
Obviously we have a thing or two to say about the subject matter. I
participated remotely last year (from Fermilab back then), but if anyone
else is interested, I'll step aside.
Best,
Martin

Dear Colleagues,
It has been about a year since the last workshop on streaming readout
systems for future nuclear and particle physics experiments (see
https://eic.jlab.org/wiki/index.php/Trigger/Streaming_Readout ).
Therefore, we would like to propose another meeting to be held at MIT
on Monday and Tuesday, January 29 and 30, 2018.
The goal is to learn the current status and plans for future readout
systems. The workshop should promote the exchange of ideas and identify
possible areas for collaboration concerning the development of a
streaming read-out schemes.
People are welcome to attend in person at MIT but participation will
also be possible using the MIT hosted WebEx video conferencing service.
Please reply to this message if you are interested in participating so
we can judge attendance. Also, anyone interested in giving a brief
presentation is very welcome. Please forward a title and we will
include your name on the schedule.
Please feel free to suggest names or to forward this email to others
who might be interested.
Cheers,
Douglas
