Hello everyone

 

We would like to invite you to a sPHENIX TPC Electronics Meeting, coming Monday Mar 3:30PM EST, 3-192

 

Following up with the discussion at the DAQ workfest, the goal for this meeting is to solidify a few key factors in the TPC FEE / DAM data flow design. Topics include:

• Data rate, flow, and buffer usage on FEE and DAM
• Trigger throttling strategy
• Generating a deterministic busy state
• DMA transfer busy test

Hope we could come up with a consensus on the updated TPC DAQ design to feedback to the larger sPHENIX DAQ discussions, as well as to make a consistent message in the PD2-3 review.
