Hi Nikhil, Bob and all,

Sorry I couldn't make the meeting. It seems to me that the best solution is one 50deg diffuser tilted at about 17deg. It's the cheapest, simplest and least position sensitive option with the best uniformity at the cost of less than 1% of photons. Is that the same conclusion you reached in the meeting?

Also, I'm not sure how Nikhil found himself on the UK side of edmund optics, but here are the US links: 40deg and 50deg, both for $350ea.

Here is the page for the 50 degree diffuser from the same where the diameter of the piece is 25mm. The clear aperture is listed as 21.6mm. The stock number is #48-512.
There is also a version with a diameter of 50mm. 
The piece with a diameter of 25mm is of course cheaper.(300 GBP vs 470 GBP)
