Dear Bob,
Really good. Thanks for getting things 'to the cusp'. Looking forward to news from next week.
Regards, Glenn

Dear All,Just wanted to follow up with a quick update with the laser/magnet test. Unfortunately, the ESSH people at the magnet division were running behind today and were not able to come by and give the final blessing on our apparatus, to allow us to insert it into the magnet and ramp the current. I was assured though that this final approval will happen by Monday afternoon. One ESSH person did come by briefly and seemed to be happy with the setup and didn't question the amount of magnetic material present, so John C. thinks they are probably Ok with it. In the meantime, with the laser system sitting on a bench beside the magnet, we were able to replicate the results from the bench tests, so we're basically all ready to go (see photo). More next week...Cheers,BobOn Thu, Feb 4, 2021 at 6:48 PM Bob Azmoun <azmoun AT bnl.gov> wrote:Dear All,This is a friendly reminder that we will have our laser calibration meeting tomorrow at 9am.A link to the Indico page is here: https://indico.bnl.gov/event/10780/and the bluejeans link is here: https://bluejeans.com/881710315I put together a tentative agenda, but please feel free to modify it and upload any material you wish to present. Here is the laser system procurement list for your reference:https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1IJ38FGIPg8_reQmr9sdhti9CY17jYKDnwaR7MtfHOcY/edit?usp=sharingSince I'll be busy with the magnet test tomorrow, I likely won't be able to call in to the meeting, so I'll catch up next week. So far we (Bill L., John K., Takao S., and I) managed to successfully transfer the full laser setup to the magnet facility in bldg. 902 and are now waiting on the final approval to turn the magnet on. As you know, Takao and John will also be testing the TPC FEE in the magnet at the same time. (BTW, the laser is now water cooled thanks to Rob and Bill and the temperature is very stable.) I'll try to post some slides with an update of the magnet test as soon as I can.Cheers,Bob-------------------------------------------------
