Dear All,

The action items from last week's TPC Engineering meeting are below, and the status document is posted on indico as usual:
https://indico.bnl.gov/event/11829/
As always, if you shared slides etc and haven't posted them yet, please do so for posterity's sake.

See you all at the next meeting, at the usual coordinates: Wednesday, Aug 4, at 9:30AM Eastern:

-Ross

Anyone, if you have a procurement, call it out! Tell Ross, Tom, and >>Ed<<
Bob will do vacuum (voltage?) test of QE of aluminum to confirm what laser power we need.
Bob will talk with BS to find out the safe deadtime (propose 10us?)
Connor has Dan's significantly stiffer original design, and will run through that modal analysis and show(?) that it doesn't change the natural frequencies enough to be attractive.
Connor will check in on the status of the rack panel layout with Joe.
Connor will consider how to safely remove the installation pipe. The concept of multiple support points looks promising, and more details are required. This will be the focus after the TPC support is finalized.
Connor will give clearance to the TPOT footprint as much as possible in the TPC design
Connor will integrate FEE Cooling lines (1" diam) into the cable routing diagrams (away from TPC toward the recirculator)
Connor will investigate the details of the picture frame connections (torque etc) for the FEA of the TPC support.
Connor will look at the exact height of the muID lip, see if clocking at that point during installation will help get the benches past it.
Connor will look for places where survey marks could be placed (to meet with survey folks before the end of July).
Connor will reach out to John H. about the expected accuracy of the iHCal and the magnetic field alignment.
Connor will route RG59 cables, one to each HV card (one per module) plus additionally four more (inner field cage north, outer field cage north, inner field cage south outer field cage south) aka the three small wire feedthroughs. And will communicate with Tom and Joel to determine the full length of the HV cable.
Connor/Rich will, when ready, show the design of the support tube.
Dan will keep in contact with nanomotion about the ceramics
John H. will reach out to Eric Mannel to add TPC to the overall grounding diagram.
Luke will update us and supply some pictures of the x-ray box.
Nikhil will post the parts list for the evaporator support structure
Rob Pisani will produce a slide on the gas failsafe passive and active alarms, what happens if the gasroom goes dark, etc for this meeting, and eventual propagation to Joel.
Rob will keep us posted on gas rack news.
Rob will proceed with the PLC purchase.
Ross, Tom, and all. will evaporate again.
Someone will reach out to Bent Nielsen to find out if there is a usual substrate to evaporate on for absolute measurements.
Takao or John H. will give updates on the Slice Test.
Takao will reach out to John K., ask him to provide a checklist of what has been or needs to be checked on the readout boards from the slice test in order to proceed with production.
Takao will set up a ~biweekly electronics meeting, focusing on the slice test electronics.
Tom et al. will test voltages for the HV cards once the x-ray box is ready.
Tom is still waiting to hear back from some other PCB companies.
Tom will order the cards for the photodiodes after doing a final check that the layout is indeed correct (the vendor layout had an error)
When needed, someone should make the drawings from the models, get approval, and order.…Connor says ~2 weeks required after we start the process. May want to tie additional things onto the panels, so want to complete routing before purchase.
