Dear Ben

Thanks for putting together this draft. A few suggestions:

  • “the main tracking detector in sPHENIX” + , a new experiment at Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC)
  • “rays, lasers, and beams”, “beam” -> “Au+Au collisions”
  • “This talk will discuss the commissioning progress of the sPHENIX TPC including ongoing work to resolve issues with GEM deformation, validate the working point of the GEM stack, and establish zero-suppressed data operation.”
  • Here I would not enumerate the on-going problems in the abstract. We could simplify it as
This talk will discuss the commissioning progress of the sPHENIX TPC in the first run and future work towards the first physics measurement.

Cheers

Jin

Hello all,

Attached is an abstract for a talk that I would like to give at the South Eastern section of the APS meeting in November. Let me know if you have any feedback.

Best,
