Good morning!
It is extremely pleasant to see such a picture.
Good luck with all next (High intensity beams) steps: laser data, correction of all distortions, tracks matching,...
Best regards, Nikolai.

_______________________________________________Hello TPC enthusiasts,
I wanted to point out that tonight 05.10, all tracking detectors took collisions with full field (B = 1.4 T) and pp collisions (ZDC ~ 700 Hz, MBD raw ~ 45-50 kHz).
Here is a list of run #'s:
41967 – 41975 (TPC + TPOT, z-vertex ~ -9 cm)41976 – 41980 (TPC + TPOT, C-AD moving z-vertex)41981 – 41983 (MVTX, INTT, TPC, TPOT – MVTX issue, z-vertex ~ -2.5 cm)41984 – 41986 (INTT, TPC, TPOT, z-vertex ~ -2.5 cm)419817 (MVTX, INTT, TPC, TPOT – MVTX issue, z-vertex ~ -2.5 cm)41988 (INTT, TPC, TPOT, z-vertex ~ -2.5 cm)41989 - 41992 (MVTX, INTT, TPC, TPOT, z-vertex ~ -2.5 cm)
You can find the runs at the following location in SDCC:
/direct/sphenix+lustre01/sphnxpro/commissioning/slurp/tpcbeam/run_00041900_00042000
with the file-pattern: DST_BEAM_run2pp_new_2023p013-000XXXXX-00YY.root , where XXXXX is the run # and YYYY is the file segment associated with the run (they are about 3 GB each)
This represents a very big achievement on the part of many individuals all working together in support of sPHENIX's physics goals. While there are too many people to name, a brief list of some (not all) of the responsible parties would include: Run + Period Coordination, Subsystem Detector Experts (MBD, MVTX, INTT, TPC, TPOT, DAQ/TRIGGER, ONLINE MONITORING, OFFLINE, ...), shift crews, and sPHENIX engineers/technicians/tradespeople,
While this data represents a significant accomplishment, there is still more work to be done. Many subsystems are still configuring their detectors for optimal physics and offline event building is still a work in progress. In particular the TPC is still trying to ascertain its performance in the settings it ran in during this data taking. We want to know if we have a good enough gain on all the modules such that tracking efficiency is sufficient to meet sPHENIX's tracking performance requirements.
Thanks again to all who helped make this happen and looking forward to some great analyses in the coming days !
