sPHENIX tracking discussion

        Dear all,
         sPHENIX is preparing for a Cost and Schedule Review
        of our Tracker system in September. In preparation for
        that review we are scheduling a number of mini-Reviews
        of the various Tracker subsystem components. I would like
        to schedule a review of the MAPs vertex detector, both the
        mechanics and electronics, for the afternoon of Thursday,
        June 30, starting at 1:30 pm in 2-219. The review should
        last approximately 2.5 hours. The review committee will be
        Flemming Videbaek, Eric Mannel and John Lajoie in addition to
        sPHENIX Project Management.

         The charge for the review committee is to assess the state of
        project planning for the MAPs vertex detector.
        We request a presentation, or presentations that allow us
        to evaluate the basis for the cost estimate, the basis
        for the schedule, the state of the WBS,
        the available resources to carry out the
        project and the proposed subsystem org chart. The
          presentations should cover both the project plan for the
        MAPs detector and its readout electronics.
