We will have a tracking meeting tomorrow, Friday August 26, at 9:00 am ET. The agenda page is:

I have posted to that page some slides showing preliminary performance plots for (maps + TPC) and (maps + intermediate tracker + TPC configurations) made with the standard macro that we have been discussing. These seem to be consistent with plots made by Sourav using somewhat different techniques.

It would be very useful for experts on the maps, intermediate tracker and TPC subsystems to look at the plots and the macro (see the slides for where the macro is) before the meeting and check that what they see makes sense. I would like to have a discussion at the meeting about where we stand and whether we need to make changes before the review.

In particular, it would be good for those who have been tuning the reconstruction code to look at the performance plots and macro to see if I have missed any of their improvements.
