Hi Prakhar,

Nice abstract. Couple of minor comments

1. Probably better to also include radial phase space coverage of TPC.

2. Although, TPC has been used by other experiments as well but we need to optimize the detector concept for the need of RHIC environment and scope. ===> I won't say optimizing detector concept for need of RHIC environment. STAR also uses TPC in RHIC environment.

Title: R&D Studies for the sPHENIX Time Projection Chamber

The upgraded sPHENIX detector design is mainly focused for the precise upsilon spectroscopy and jet measurements with high efficiency and resolution.

A time projection chamber (TPC) is proposed as one of the main tracking detector for the sPHENIX with rapidity of |y|<1.1 and full azimuth coverage.

Although, TPC has been used by other experiments as well but we need to optimize the detector concept for the need of RHIC environment and scope.

In this presentation, we show the results of R&D and the ongoing efforts to optimize the sPHENIX TPC.
