Dear Tom and Gunther,

OK, that sounds good. let's talk about it tomorrow at the meeting.

A progress report on the TPC would be very good, Tom.

Thanks

Tony

Hi Tom, Tony,

I think for the posters, where I assume they will ~all be accepted, a quick discussion at the tracking meeting on final wordsmithing and possible presenters would be helpful. For the talks, we'll probably follow the example of the LHC experiments and recent PHENIX practice, and submit the abstracts centrally, and then sort out speakers/presenters once we know which talks were accepted.

Cheers,

Gunther

Hi Tony

Today we had a meeting about software and the topic of QM abstracts came up.  I think we're pretty sure how many (as discussed in Emails and the EC).  Although we can send in the right abstracts total and titles, maybe the tracking group is a good forum to select authors.

Also, I can throw together a few slides on TPC progress.  We have some nice progress on motorization of the Mandrel table.

Hi All,

We will have an sPHENIX tracking meeting at 9:00 am tomorrow, Friday September 30. The agenda page is:

https://indico.bnl.gov/conferenceDisplay.py?confId=2428

I have one talk scheduled so far:

     -- Itaru Nakagawa:  INTT design

I would also like to have a discussion aimed at establishing what should be in the G4 model of the tracking system, and what is our schedule for making it so.

If anyone else has a contribution, please add yourself to the agenda.

Cheers

Tony
