Hi Everybody,

thanks to Tony for providing an update to the INTT geometry corresponding to the latest design we got from Rachid and the engineering team.

I checked the the hermeticity, number of hits etc and the new configuration seems to perform similar or better than the old 4 sublayer proposal.
For the new (old) configuratio out of 100000 generated pions 92680 (92800) particles have 3 MVTX hits and more than 30 TPC hits and do not fall into the |eta| < 0.02 gap.
For these tracks 3 (7) have zero INTT hits, so the hermiticity is intact.
For the nhit INTT distribution see the figures below.

The configuration for the new setup is listed below as well.

cheers

   Christof

Replacing the definitions for INTTLADDER4_PP with:

#ifdef INTTLADDER4_PP
int n_intt_layer = 4;
int laddertype[4] = {PHG4INTTDefs::SEGMENTATION_PHI,
               PHG4INTTDefs::SEGMENTATION_PHI,

int nladder[4] = {12,  12, 16, 16};
double sensor_radius[4] = { 7.188, 7.829, 9.680, 10.264};  // radius of center of sensor for layer default
double offsetphi[4] = {0.0, 0.5 * 360.0 / nladder[1] , 0.0, 0.5 * 360.0 / nladder[3]};
#endif
