Hi Joe,
From general detector design, and I have INTT as a model,
These parameters are enough to determine where each sensor is located in space. I’ve assumed than sagging of the ladder is negligible.
My two cents, Ivan

Hi all,
I’m re-forwarding this email to a larger audience in response to the discussion in the software meeting today. It would be very useful to hear from the tracking subsystem experts on alignment considerations, e.g. what degrees of freedom are expected to be needed for aligning the detector (and any other relevant alignment related thoughts that have already happened).

It would be very helpful to have a list of all of the alignment degrees of freedom for each of the three tracking detectors. It should include all of the possible misalignment degrees of freedom - from the overall positioning of the detector down to the smallest detector element.
If we can get this sometime this week, it would be even more helpful!
Thanks Tony
