Hi folks,

I kept seeing complaints about invalid coordinates (nan's)in the 
fieldmap lookup. I added the printout of a stacktrace for this case and 
use the current new build to kick the tires of the new hardware. Looks 
like the first job ran into this - the guilty party is the CA seeding
