Hi Tony,

a full system test of the tracking software is a great idea. I think we should really try to do this.
I hope this will include the v4 clusters and a hit input format that looks a little more like raw data than the current hit maps.
I have a working test version that should be possible to deploy on a 2 month timescale.
We should also define a proper DST format to communicate between the reconstruction jobs. We have a demo
version of that, so we should be able to deploy this on the giveen timescale as well

A special tracking meeting next week is also a good idea. Thursdays work fine for me. 10am is ok.

Cheers

Hi All,

Monday is Labor Day, so I think we should cancel the tracking software meeting for Monday.

What do people think about setting up a special meeting next week (Thursday, 10 am EDT?) to plan a full system test of the tracking software? I was thinking of a timescale of ~2 months (or less) for the test. We would need to assemble a task list, and assign items to ourselves. The idea would be to set up a workflow with all of the bells and whistles turned on, and get it all working at once.

Let me know what you think about that.

Cheers
Tony
