Hi folks,

the average time per event which is printed out in the logs keeps sending us down some rabbit holes in terms of seeming disagreements which were likely caused by a few odd evens distorting the average. I just committed a module which extracts the time on an event by event basis and dumps the results into a TTRee so you can actually see the underlying distribution. It is based on the CDBTTree class which made coding this up a lot simpler. I attach the timing of FPHSimpleKFProp for AuAu for 300 events, since it's a TTree you can apply cuts and using the event number (IID) identify anomalous events for further testing.

I added a little blurb how to instrument this in our wiki:
https://wiki.sphenix.bnl.gov/index.php/Tools#Module_event_by_event_timing_measurement

This didn't make it into today's build, but tomorrow it should be available (don't forget that the sphenix setup script now defaults to ana, you need to explicitly source it with new)

Chris
