Hi All,

The poll results for the online/offline working meetings next week yielded two times that mostly work for everyone who responded, and some others who were contacted privately.

Tuesday September 19, 10 am - 1:00 pm
Friday September 22, 10 am - 1:00 pm

Let's plan on meeting at those times. I will send a zoom link around. Those who will be at BNL may want to find a room there to gather in.

We should assemble a preliminary task list this week for discussion. I will be in contact with experts about that.

Best regards
Tony

Hi All,

We plan to have some working meetings to understand/plan/kickstart enabling the large scale offline processing of data. This has now become an urgent issue, since there is a large offline software commissioning effort that must be completed before the end of this year, and which cannot begin without access to large data samples.

I am sending this to the software and tracking lists so that collaborators are informed, but I will be in contact with key people privately also.

We plan to have two meetings in the week of September 18, tentatively 3 hours each. For various reasons, the Tuesday, Thursday and Friday of that week would work best. I created a poll here to find the best times.

There will likely be conflicts with some regular sPHENIX meetings, but please consider prioritizing this very highly.

Please keep in mind that subsystem, online and offline experts in a wide range of time zones will be involved in the working sessions. That means that mornings, not too early, would work best.

Best regards
Tony
