I see, so I misunderstood the discussion during Friday’s meeting. Sorry for the noise.

Hi Hugo,

No worries, I looked through my tuples and I do see TPOT clusters. The plots I showed in the meeting were clusters on tracks, so there is apparently some tuning that needs to be applied to the TPC-TPOT track matching module!

Joe

Joe,

Following the meeting last Friday, I had a look at TPOT data in run 26174.

In online monitoring, the TPOT data appear just fine there (except for one hot channel). See https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://sphenix-intra.sdcc.bnl.gov/WWW/run/2023/OnlMonHtml/mon.cgi?runnumber=26174&runtype=unknowndata__;!!Bt8fGhp8LhKGRg!CEaj2A19HfjhzqywOe5nYZhODjejhfuSl4zxixbZ5MDhJnZkLosQF0Hx2QsLHFhVioY_3c4Gz8A9zbf_xytuJcMgqIuC2EqTqcluAlM$

In addition at least with with the macro I am running, I do see some clusters for TPOT in there.

EventCounter_hp::process_event - Event = 43

TrackingEvaluator_hp::evaluate_event - bco: 547576716442

EventCounter_hp::process_event - Event = 44

TrackingEvaluator_hp::print_cluster - layer: 55 type: 3 position: (2.09611,-83.447,-84.1697)

TrackingEvaluator_hp::print_cluster - layer: 56 type: 3 position: (-1.82576,-83.9192,-66.0417)

TrackingEvaluator_hp::print_cluster - layer: 56 type: 3 position: (-43.8643,-71.6191,25.8928)

[…]

Could you point me to the macro you used to produce the plots that you have shown on Friday ? Have you been using the latest and greatest builds ? (I did fix a bug in the TPOT clustering a week or two ago, I think …)

Thank you,

Hugo
