Hi all,

Forwarding this on behalf of the organizing committee. I will be attending, let me know if you want more information.

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce that the first ACTS Tracking for Nuclear Physics workshop (ACTS4NP 2025) will take place in Berkeley, CA from May 12 to 15, 2025. Please mark your calendars.

This in-person workshop aims to bridge the ACTS tracking community and nuclear physics experiments that might want to (or already) use ACTS for particle trajectory reconstruction in their detectors. We also encourage members of HEP, dark matter, and other physics communities to attend and share their experiences with track reconstructions!

In this workshop, ACTS developers from France and CERN will be present in person to facilitate  discussionS and hands-on work on ACTS implementation and tutorials. The workshop also features a mini-symposium on tracking with GPU and AI/ML. A detailed agenda will be available on the indico page soon.

This event is supported by the France-Berkeley Fund and hosted by Berkeley Lab. Registration is free of charge.
