Hi all,
Since there has been some confusion and since we have been updating calibrations in the last few days, this email hopes to clarify what database tag we should be using right now.
The tags work just like the new and ana builds - there is a "new" tag that gives you the latest and greatest, and a tagged version which identifies some reproducible set of calibrations. The tagged versions look like 2024pXXX, and the "new" version looks like
ProdA_2024. Therefore, if you want the latest and greatest calibrations in your jobs, use
recoConsts *rc = recoConsts::instance();
rc->set_StringFlag("CDB_GLOBALTAG", "ProdA_2024");
Joe
